Listen
March 9, 2008
Friday evening after the parish Lenten Supper, I went into the church to make an Act of Thanksgiving for the many blessings the Lord has showered upon the parish in recent weeks. I finished by saying: “Thanks for listening.” The Lord then spoke loudly and clearly. I heard: “Thanks for listening to Me.” I smiled.
Today I received confirmation by this small phrase in today’s account of The Raising of Lazarus: “…Jesus raised His eyes and said, “Father, I thank you for hearing Me, I know that you always hear Me.” I smiled again.
