It was good to be home for a few days. Mom and Dad are doing well, and Oreo enjoyed the attention. The only drawback…the traffic! A 15-minute trip to Starbucks takes 30.

I spied an interesting billboard somewhere on I-10 between Phoenix and Palm Springs. Amidst the highway billboards hawking anything from homes to gasoline to burgers (all requiring a 30-year conventional loan), one stated: One nation under me. — God. Very clever.
