The parishioners of Saint Charles Borromeo and I would be very appreciative if you could pay a visit to ignatius.com and order a Pew Edition of the Adoremus Hymnal ($14.95). We would like to place at least three in every pew. A dedication label inside adorned with the above painting of Saint Cecilia, the Patroness of Catholic Church Music, would read:

Yesterday after Mass a young lady in her mid-twenties, whom I hadn’t seen before, asked me if the Traditional Latin Mass listed on the cover of the parish bulletin, was the Tridintine Mass. I responded affirmatively. She said, “Oh, that would be interesting!”
This morning at the TLM adorned in a chapel veil (available in the narthex) she knelt reverently for Holy Communion.
My heart was warmed…the fruits of Summorum Pontificum. Thank you Holy Father for this gift you’ve given to a young lamb of your flock.

Washer and Dryer Raffle: The Social Committee of Saint Charles Borromeo Parish will be offering Raffle Tickets for the next three weeks for a Maytag Washer and a Maytag Dryer that have been renovated like new. Each is worth $300. Raffle tickets for the Washer will sell for $2 and Raffle Tickets for the Dryer will sell for $2. The drawing for the winner(s) will be held Sunday, the 2nd of March after the Noon Mass. You need not be present to win. All proceeds from this raffle will go toward Church renovations (fixing the leaky parish hall roof!).
